It shows all images and videos in a particular directory in sequence. ACCEPTED FILES ============== SSV will view the following files: Images: * JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) * GIF (.gif) * Windows Bitmap (.bmp) Movies: * MPEG (.mpg, .mpeg) * Windows Media (.avi) STARTING SSV ============ There are two ways to start SSV: 1) Click on the Slide Show Viewer shortcut in the Start Menu. - Using the Browse for Folder window, select which directory you wish to view. 2) Right-click on any folder and click "View in Slideshow". If there are images or movies in the selected directory, the slideshow will automatically start. If no files are found, then you will be told that "No pictures found in this directory!" CONTROLS ======== The mouse will be hidden by default. Move the mouse around for about a second to make the cursor and control buttons reappear. There are five buttons that you can click: <<: Move back one picture/movie ||: Pauses the automatic timer ***OR*** >: Starts the automatic timer >>: Move forward one picture/movie O: View the options window (see "Options") X: Exit SSV OPTIONS ======= * Shrink images that are bigger than the screen Scales any images larger than the screen to fit within the screen. Otherwise, these images will be cut off at the edges. * Loop images Restarts the slideshow at the beginning when the end is reached. Otherwise, SSV will exit when the end is reached. * Within-Screen Pictures These options control any images that fit within the screen. - Leave alone Shows images at normal size. - Expand to the size of the screen (fullscreen) Stretches the image to fit the entire screen. - Expand to the size of the screen (aspect) Stretches the image to fit the entire screen, but keeps the aspect ratio the same (the image will be equally stretched). * Automatically cycle through images Enables the automatic timer. Deactivating this will disable the automatic timer and hide the || (>) button. - Delay Changes the amount of delay (in seconds) between pictures (1 to 30 seconds). * Background color Changes the color of the background screen.
