• Technic Axle 3 (1)

Notes:

• For this step, put the axle through one of the end holes of the Technic brick.  Put the 8-tooth gear on one end, and the 16-tooth gear on the other end.  Put the brick into the position shown, with the 8-tooth meshing with the motor's 8-tooth.  Make sure that you have the axle and gears on the right, not the left. (The design allows the gears to turn freely in this position, but they lock if they're backwards) For more clarification, look at the Detail picture.
