The NGTL Guide is designed to help you make the most out of the NG Total Listing. This document serves as a guide to show you how to find your placement in the NG Total Listing, along with utilizing its special features.

Currently, there are thirteen different lists that make up the NG Total Listing, in two groups:
Blam/Protect Lists
- Blam/Protect (B/P)
This list contains everyone with 100 blam/protect points or more (Safety Patrol or higher). It is sorted by total points.
- Blam/Protect Alt Sort (B/P Alt Sort)
This list is identical to the Blam/Protect list, but it is sorted by blam/protects points earned per hour. Additionally, you must have gotten at least one blam/protect point since the last update to be listed here.
- Blam/Protect Lifetime (B/P Lifetime)
This list is identical to the Blam/Protect list, but it is sorted by blam/protects points earned per day over the entire duration of the profile. Additionally, you must have gotten at least one blam/protect point per day over the life of your profile to be listed here.
- Blams
This list contains everyone with 100 blam points or more. It is sorted by blam point count.
- Saves
This list contains everyone with 100 save (protect) points or more. It is sorted by save point count.
- Blam-to-Save Ratio
This list contains everyone with 100 blam/protect points or more, and more blam points than save points. It is sorted first by blam-to-save ratio, then by blam point count. If a user has 0 save points, then his/her ratio is "Infinite", and is ranked on top according to number of blam points.
- Save-to-Blam Ratio
This list contains everyone with 100 blam/protect points or more, and more save points than blam points. It is sorted first by save-to-blam ratio, then by save point count. If a user has 0 blam points, then his/her ratio is "Infinite", and is ranked on top according to number of save points.
Other Lists
- Experience (Exp)
This list contains everyone with 100 experience points or more (Level 3 or higher). It is sorted by experience points.
- Voting Power (VP)
This list contains everyone with a 2.00 voting power or more (at least 100 experience points). This list is sorted by voting power.
- Reviews (Rev)
This list contains everyone with 25 reviews or more. It is sorted by review count.
- Batting Average (Bat)
This list contains everyone with a batting average. It is sorted by batting average.
- BBS Posts (BBS)
This list contains everyone with 500 BBS posts or more. It is sorted by post count.
NOTE: You may not talk about, advertise, or even mention the BBS Posts list on the Newgrounds BBS. This is an effort to prevent mass amounts of BBS spam in connection to this listing. If it becomes a problem, I will remove this list and never make it again. Don't let me down, people.
- All List Ranks (ALR)
This list contains everyone that appears in the main Blam/Protect and Experience lists. This list shows the sum total of your ranks on each of the lists. It is sorted by that sum total, in reverse order (lower numbers are better).
All list ties, after sorting, are broken by profile ID#. Thus, an older account will always win a tie with a newer account. You can find two tables containing all of the lists in the Current Lists section of the NG Total Listing website. Here's an example:

This table contains four major columns:
- List Type
This column shows the lists that NG Total Listing consists of. Note that "Profile List" is also listed here; this list is not publicly available, but simply shows when the profile lists are updated for the lists.
- Last Update
This column shows when each list was last updated. Typically, the Blam/Protect Lists are updated every Wednesday and Sunday, the Experience, Voting Power, Reviews, Batting Average, and BBS Posts lists are updated every Sunday, and the Profile List is updated at the beginning of every month.
- Mirror Links
This column contains links to each of the lists. Try the first mirror link first; if that website is down, then try the other links (typically the first link is the best).
- Next Update
This column shows when each list will next be updated. See the "Last Update" column description above for the typical update schedule.

To access the Full Listing, click the Full Listing link on the main page of the list you are viewing.
You will need your profile number in order to use the Full Listing. To get this number, open up your Public Profile in Newgrounds. Right-click on the page and click Properties on the popup menu. In the Address (URL) section of the Properties page, there should be a URL that looks like this:
http://www.newgrounds.com/gold/profile/template.php3?id=267310
This is the address to my public profile. The number that is bolded and italicized is my profile number. There should be a similarly placed number in your public profile's URL; this is your profile number.
Once you get your profile number, open the Find function in your browser (usually under the Edit menu). Type your profile number in the Search box and find your profile number in the list of links. Click on your profile number, and you will be taken to the list page containing your profile's entry. See the List Entries section of this Guide for more information on the list pages.
Once you find your profile's entry in the list (or if you're simply browsing the lists), you can read the information from the list. This section consists of thirteen subsections, one for each list type:
The Blam/Protect (or Blams and Saves) list consists of eight columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- Total
The profile's total blam and protect points.
- Rank
The profile's current blam/protect rank (title).
- Pt Chg
The profile's change in blam and protect points since the last update.
- Chg per Hr
The profile's change in blam and protect points since the last update, but per hour.
- Est. Days Til Rank-Up
The profile's estimated number of days until its next rank-up, based on the last week's blam/protect points change.
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has nine of these:
- Rank Up!
The profile went up at least one rank (title) since the last update.
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- 6+ per Hour (1:

The profile gained at least 6 blam/protect points per hour since the last update. Each time a profile reaches this level, a blue star is added next to their name on subsequent updates. A silver star is equal to 5 blue stars, and a gold star is equal to 10 blue stars.
- 5+ per Hour
The profile gained at least 5 blam/protect points per hour since the last update.
- 4+ per Hour
The profile gained between 4 and 4.999 blam/protect points per hour since the last update.
- 3+ per Hour
The profile gained between 3 and 3.999 blam/protect points per hour since the last update.
- 2+ per Hour
The profile gained between 2 and 2.999 blam/protect points per hour since the last update.
- <2 per Hour
The profile gained between 1.999 and 0.001 blam/protect points per hour since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any blam/protect points since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.

- 4+ per Hour

- MAX Days
The profile was created MAX days ago, where MAX is the number of days since October 10, 2002 (the date on which the current blam/save system was started).
- MAX75+ Days
The profile was created at least MAX75 days ago, where MAX75 is the 75% of the number of days since October 10, 2002 (the date on which the current blam/save system was started).
- MAX50+ Days
The profile was created at least MAX50 days ago, where MAX50 is the 50% of the number of days since October 10, 2002 (the date on which the current blam/save system was started).
- MAX25+ Days
The profile was created at least MAX25 days ago, where MAX25 is the 25% of the number of days since October 10, 2002 (the date on which the current blam/save system was started).
- <MAX25 Days
The profile was created less than MAX25 days ago, where MAX25 is the 25% of the number of days since October 10, 2002 (the date on which the current blam/save system was started).

The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- No Change
The profile's blam-to-save ratio didn't increase since the last update.

The Experience list consists of seven columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- Points
The profile's experience points.
- Level
The profile's current experience level.
- Pt Chg
The profile's change in experience points since the last update.
- Est. Pts Til Level-Up
The profile's estimated number of points needed to achieve the next experience level (this neglects possible deposits by level 30 users, which will affect point requirements for levels 10-30).
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has five of these:
- Level Up!
The profile went up at least one level since the last update.
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- 70+ Points
The profile gained at least 70 experience points since the last update.
- <70 Points
The profile gained between 1 and 69 experience points since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any experience points since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
The Voting Power list consists of five columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- Power
The profile's voting power.
- Change
The profile's change in voting power since the last update.
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has four of these:
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- >0.05 Increase
The profile gained at least 0.05 in voting power since the last update.
- <0.05 Increase
The profile gained between 0.04 and 0.01 in voting power since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any voting power since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
The Reviews list consists of five columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- Reviews
The profile's number of reviews.
- Change
The profile's change in review count since the last update.
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has seven of these:
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- 70+ Increase
The profile gained at least 70 reviews since the last update.
- 50+ Increase
The profile gained between 50 and 69 reviews since the last update.
- 30+ Increase
The profile gained between 30 and 49 reviews since the last update.
- 10+ Increase
The profile gained between 10 and 29 reviews since the last update.
- <10 Increase
The profile gained between 1 and 9 reviews since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any reviews since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
The Batting Average list consists of six columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- Batting Avg
The profile's batting average (out of 5 points).
- Grade
The profile's batting average letter grade (A+, B+, C+, D+, or F+).
- Change
The profile's change in batting average since the last update.
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has two of these:
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any batting average points since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
The BBS Posts list consists of five columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- BBS Posts
The profile's number of BBS posts.
- Change
The profile's change in BBS post count since the last update.
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has two of these:
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
- No Change
The profile didn't gain any BBS posts since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
The All List Ranks list consists of five columns:
- Name
The profile's user name.
- Rank
The profile's rank compared to everybody else on the list.
- Change
The profile's change in rank since the last update. A positive change is good, while a negative change is bad.
- All List Rank Total
The profile's combined ranks in the Blam/Protect and Experience lists (lower is better).
- Change
The profile's change in combined rank total since the last update (negative is good, positive is bad).
After every fifty entries, there is a legend of all of the visual indicators used in the list. This list has one of these:
- Down-Rank
The profile went down at least one ranking since the last update.
Also, at the top of each list page is a link back to the main list page, and there are links at the top and bottom of each list page for navigating between list pages.
There are three special lists in the NG Total Listing:
