War of the Portal
Part 2, Chapter 13 - "The Power of Protection"

“We have no choice,” Responded YoinK_VineS. “But to fight him!” The man pulled his rod from his belt and pointed it towards the huge rat. “This is for you…ramagi.”
He muttered ancient words as a beam of white burning flame erupted from the tip of the rod, flying towards the rat. The animal responded by standing on its hind legs and flipping backwards to dodge the blow. Its buck teeth shined as the rat smiled sinisterly.
“You cannot defeat me with such simple attacks mortal fool,” The rat boomed as everyone flinched. “What’s wrong? I talk and so do other animals in other stories. Get over it!”
The rat fired twin laser beams towards YoinK_VineS as he swiftly dodged the blow. _lightning_ sped forward as he leapt towards the rat’s tail, attempting to take a quick hold of it. The rat laughed as he easily flicked _lightning_ to the wall.
“Lightning!” Cried ramagi as she began to run forward. -Mazza- stopped the girl as he smirked. “Don’t worry about him my love. Let me take care of this!” The man charged towards the huge rat, his lead pipe swinging in a fast circular motion. Pushing towards the ground like a wound spring, -Mazza- flew upwards, throwing his pipe against the rat, skimming his ear. The rat roared as he brought his two front feet together, creating a dark ball of electricity, throwing it towards the half flying man.

“What the hell is this?” Cried the_phantom_spancker. “Who are you and what do you want?”
The rat only smiled again. “I am searching for my creator…I am his failed experiment and I must seek him. Feasting on your brains will give me that knowledge.”
“Creator…failed experiment…what are you on about?” Demanded M-A-R-C-U-S.
“My creator was Dobio. He failed me.” The rat wiped his whiskers.
“Dobio…but…he’s dead!” Replied ShittyKitty.
“Indeed he is. He died with many of the other guards at the portal entrance.” Replied TheJoe324.
”Liars! That is why I could not trust you. I will feast on your brains to obtain the truth!”
“Obviously you do not understand,” Replied D0GMA. “Dobio was a great man indeed. I am sure that if he were alive, he would have returned to fix you up. Unfortunately, he is not around to do that any longer.”
“Soft words attempting to comfort me…yet you are all liars,” Growled the rat. “I will feast on you all!”

The rat flipped forwards as his claws ejected from his bony pink fingertips. He charged towards the group as they scattered, avoiding a slashing from the rat. It threw a slash towards FIGMENTUM, who quickly blocked with his nun chucks. Crono- flashed behind the rat ready to force a blow. The creature sensed him and leapt into the air, causing the man to punch FIGMENTUM in the face. He landed behind the tangled group as he picked a stunned Crono-, throwing him like a pebble towards MPA, who slid towards a crumbled wall. Afterburner and the_phantom_spancker charged together as they attempted to attack from the sides. The rat only had to raise his arms and fire a beam of blue light to blast them away. XwaynecoltX, ramagi, TheJoe324 and ShittyKitty all charged towards the rat from both sides as he smiled yet again. Time froze as he jumped in the air, and his hind legs were raised upwards. He zoomed in a fast circular motion, striking all the chargers in the head, forcing them back to where they first stood.
“You don’t stand a chance against me!” Laughed the rat. He focused as he fired another beam of laser at one of the buildings, causing it to erupt in flames.
YoinK_VineS stood in anger, throwing another barrage of flame, with the rat throwing a resistance of hail, causing a blast of neutralisation. Little was he aware of the ball of plasma followed behind the flame, forcing him to the ground.

D0GMA sighed, noticing all the bodies that lay around the debris of the road. Picking up ramagi’s rod, D0GMA spoke. “I guess I’m going to have to take care of this myself…since everyone else doesn’t seem too ready to help me.” The lifeless bodies did not respond.
“You think you can defeat me?” Laughed the rat. “Fool!”
D0GMA smiled, removing the hood of the silken black cloth from its resting place. “I may not be able to defeat you, but…”
An untold wind suddenly picked pace as D0GMA flicked the cloth that once covered a secretive body. The wind picked pace as words flooded into D0GMA’s head, words of evil and words of good. Words of black and words of white. Words of destruction and protection. Words of a nuclear power flicked through D0GMA’s mind, words that the D0GMA was sure of recent use. Too soon. Could it be related to the tremors in any way? D0GMA dropped the thought as more words continued to echo closer, words shifting into D0GMA’s mind.
“I found it.” Smiled D0GMA. “Farewell fellow rat until we meet again, CONTEGO MEUS INDEMNIS PUBES!”

A white plume of light could be seen from the edges of the city, rising into the sky as a beautiful white majestic flower, a power never seen since the time of the ancients. The flower turned into white threads of tangled curly white beads of light, stretching taller and curling onto one another. The magic was a form of ancient protection never seen before. What D0GMA had summoned was more than great; it was legendary. It seemed that the world was balanced with agents of light and dark, protectors and destroyers. It was a sign that not everyone should be messed with. It was a sign of history that would be carved into the earth for many years to come.
